Every city has someone relatively famous than everyone else who always talks about their hometown. They represent they city on the world stage and — even more important — the American stage.
For Vancouver, that’s NBC’s Michael Buble. He’s part-owner of the city’s junior hockey team, the WHL’s Giants, and he’s openly cheesy about Canadian stereotypes.
