Here were the first three thoughts that passed my heart to my brain threshold to my fingers and then out into the world of social media when I read that Michael Jordan said he’ll take Kobe over LeBron because five rings is better than one.

I just simply don’t have the energy to write complete sentences right now, so this will have to do.

1. My Post On My Own Facebook Timeline

“What an egomaniacal prick.

“I’m fans of both Kobe and LeBron, but Jordan has never let down his own inflated head. He said he’s take Kobe’s 5 rings of LeBron’s 1 every time, forgetting the fact that James was 28 years old when he won his first. MJ was 29 when he won his first in 1991 with Chicago.

“I wonder if MJ would have taken Bill Russell over himself.”

2. My Response To Someone In My Fantasy Basketball Pool

“I don’t think it’s that he took Kobe over LeBron. That’s a simple opinion, and I don’t think it’s an easy choice. It’s just that it’s Jordan and he’s never loved anybody more than he loves himself. LeBron represents a greater threat to him, so he can’t acknowledge him. Guys like him and Pele who don’t age gracefully should just step aside and fade into irrelevance. Of course, owning the Bobcats is as close to irrelevance as you can get.”
