Mark Cuban Owns Skip Bayless and ESPN’s “First Take”
Nothing like one blowhard being a blowhard while calling two other guys blowhards. Nothing like us – a website of blowhard blowharding – writing about said blowhards.

“Mark Cuban Appears on First Take, Spends Entire Appearance Trashing Its Hosts,” Deadspin (June 22, 2012)

It’s funny how it takes a famous guy with boatloads of money to say it before it becomes official. First Take has been ridiculous since it’s inception, but it’s always been entertaining. And, now that Mark Cuban has said it not only publicly but on the show, itself, can we admit that ESPN has jumped the shark with this one?
Listen, Pardon The Interruption doesn’t build excitement and a viewership simply because it’s mean, or has attitude. PTI is successful because Kornheiser and Wilbon are as genuine and generous as they are cruel. They don’t feel a need to stir up debate. It’s all real, and you’ll never hear them sell-out for a joke, or for a criticism.
It’s about time someone said it. So, thank you, Mark. Of course, it’s not like The Cubes hasn’t overused his own bouche. Then again, Mark corrected the problem.
