Believe it or not, that title is just a play on words. It has nothing to with politics, and the spectrum of “left” and “right”. After graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, I am sick of the terms, “left,” “right,” “third world,” “brinksmanship,” and “Notwithstanding Clause”.

I love Rachel Maddow. I love how she attacks the camera, and I love how she yells art you just in case you didn’t hear her. Unfortunately, that’s also what I hate about her. But, I’m a fan of Maddow’s because I tend to agree with her and what she says. That’s just a personal thing… I like what she has to say but, if you don’t, I don’t blame you and I would imagine you can only watch her show after a very strong drink or a tall glass of water.

If Maddow had the FOX logo behind her, and not the Peacock, then I would surely be tired of her after minutes. Her tactics are the same (the headline in the photo above tagged with, “UNCLE!” and the one below tagged with, “Who Killed J.B.?”) and her way of conveying information (but, mostly, just opinion) is not unlike right-wing “nut jobs,” at all.

And, like the Republicans and FOX pundits she would love to see run out of Dodge, when she can’t think of something to say, she quotes a movie.

Her shows are delivered to provide us with one-side editorials and carefully picked guest speakers that only serve to make us believe what we already think. We become entrenched and, ultimately, trapped in our own minds with the same opinion we had when we entered the rodeo.

I love her.

But, I get it if you hate her.

(And, if you hate me, too.)
