The Curious Case of Mason Raymond’s Absence

The Canucks sure Dale Tallon’d this one… with Mason Raymond set to return for the first time since suffering a busted vertebrae in Game 6 of last season’s Stanley Cup Final, a “clerical error” cost the speedy Cochran, Alberta native his return.
Said clerical error: the Canucks didn’t formally reinstate him until noon, game day.
Then again… Aaron Volpatti got the start on the fourth line, and scored a big goal (with help from who else but Mr. Underrated Maxim Lapierre). Hey, Tallon got lucky, too. But, big props to Volpatti!
